Get.Up.Stop.Think.Aim.Pop.Off (a new beginning)

Ok. so i have decided to take this blog bit seriously. i mean i have fooled around with the notion of blogging on myspace and a few other social networks but i never really considered the potential of what this medium offered. Some have told me the blog would be the death of print. some of the same people have also told me the digital download and streaming media would be the death of the compact disc and the radio as we know it. I dont debate. I observe and consider the facts. Being an artist means something more to me than following in any trend yet trends sometimes dictate how an artist communicates with the audience. myspace was cool for 30 seconds and i put my page up in 2004 just about 5 years ago.. at the end of the day that whole craze distracted me from developing my own domain  and continuing to develop my brand. as i should. so now rupert murdoch basically owns 262 million profiles and the last i heard about 70 million of those are rappers, hiphop artists, holy shit.. incredible. so how is that cutting edge? how could a social network thrive without exclusivity? well ive had enough so im back to basics. i am however planning to embrace this blog as an outlet for my overall frustration, and not only pertaining to the music industry, business, hustle, game whatever you wanna call it but in regard to just about everything that crosses my mind.
